      <image:caption>Hello! Thanks for taking the time to get to know me better. I’ve been a Registered Dietitian now for 8 years and a Registered Yoga Teacher for 2 years. I’m registered in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Alberta. I’ve finally arrived at a place in life where I am able have a practice specializing in nutrition counselling for eating disorders and disordered eating. This is my passion and I knew when I started this journey many years ago, that this was eventually where I wanted to be, supporting folks like you who are on the healing journey. I have a special place in my heart for this work as I come to the field with lived experience recovering from an eating disorder. It was through my own experience with an eating disorder and the recovery journey (many years ago now) that I developed a passion for advocacy work, volunteering and supporting others who are struggling with the same thing. I have volunteered as a peer support group facilitator for individuals with eating disorders through the Eating Disorders Action Group in Halifax, and have also facilitated the Body Project. In the past 2 years, I have taken the initiative to deepen my education and training in nutrition counselling for eating disorders (see qualifications below if you are interested to know more!) I’m a compassionate guide for you on your own journey and I approach nutrition counselling in an open and gentle way. My goal is always to provide a space where you feel supported. I moved to Alberta about 6 years ago (originally from Nova Scotia). When I’m not working, I enjoy mountain adventures, reading, “introverting”, travelling, hiking, spending time with my fiancé and my dog, practicing yoga and listening to podcasts.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Individuals who are healing from eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, or folks who would like to improve their relationship to food and their body. A formal diagnosis is not required. If you would like to develop a peaceful relationship with food, you have come to a supportive place. I provide nutrition counseling to individuals who are seeking support and guidance on their journey toward eating disorders and diet culture recovery. I work primarily with adults who are ages 18 +.
